Hard to Recycle Event – April 25, 2026

Residents in need of disposing of electronics, tires, Styrofoam, and freon-containing devices can register to drop off materials on April 25, in the parking lot of Karns City High School. This collection in Karns City is part of the County’s ongoing Hard To Recycle program conducted in partnership with Pennsylvania Resources Council.

At this one-day Hard To Recycle collection event at Karns City High School, individuals can drop off electronics, tires, Styrofoam, and freon-containing appliances.

Materials are recycled at a per-item fee. On-site payment is accepted via cash, check or card. Note: CPU (towers) and laptops are accepted at no cost.
