Section 504/ADA Plan

On February 25th, 2016 The City of Butler adopted the Section 504/ADA Plan.  This plan helps the City assess the current level of compliance with the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable regulations with respect to policies, practices, programs, and facilities.  What this means to our residents and visitors is reasonable accommodations for: program accessibility, effective communication for those with hearing or vision disabilities, and accessible new construction and alterations.

Butler Downtown is a grassroots revitalization initiative involving local citizens and people from business, education, government and community organizations throughout the region.

Butler, PA was named one of the Best 20 Small Towns in America by Smithsonian Magazine.

Did you know the jeep was born here? Butler also hosts the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, which in 2011 broke the Guinness World Record for most jeeps in a parade.
