Mayor Smith called the meeting to order at 9:03 AM. Mayor Smith and Council members Walter, Smith, Bonus and Dandoy were present.
The purpose of this meeting was to review and discuss the City of Butler’s 2021 Budget. There was discussion concerning some of the changes that were made to the initial 2021 budget. The changes from the initial introduction of the budget are as follows:
Parking Fund: $861,883 to $819,988 Reduction of $41,895
LIN 05 300 – Lot, Permits, Rentals: $423,000 to $415,105
LIN 05 301 – Parking Garages: $424,483 to $390,483
LIN 05 408 – Parking Operating Expense: $12,500 to $8,050
LIN 05 419 – Collection Expense: $30,300 to $10,000
LIN 05 440 – Parking Lot Maintenance: $32,500 to $10,000
LIN 05 448 – Garage Maintenance: $61,000 to $54,955
General Fund: $11,149,107 to $11,040,095 Reduction of $109,012
LIN 01 321 – Licenses & Permits: $388,500 to $353,500
LIN 01 330 – Fines & Costs: $150,000 to $100,000
LIN 01 381 – Employee Cost Sharing: $52,750 to $51,309
LIN 01 391 – Misc.: $133,611 to $111,040
LIN 01 404 – Central Services: $68,886 to $68,686
LIN 01 407 – Financial Administration: $508,423 to $508,104
LIN 01 408 – Office of City Treasurer: $140,484 to $140,184
LIN 01 410 – Bureau of Police: $2,295,735 to $2,252,234

Mayor Smith adjourned the meeting at 9:25 AM.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Butler will hold a special meeting on Thursday, December 17th at 9:00 AM via Zoom Meetings (Logon information for this meeting is available at www.cityofbutler.org).
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the City’s 2021 budget and other such business as Council members may deem appropriate.
