Shelter Rentals
The City Treasurer’s office handles reservations and rental of Memorial Park shelters. Memorial Park has several shelters that are available for rent. Please click on the links below or call 724-285-4124 ext. 208 for more information.
Leaf Dumping at Memorial Park
Beginning on Saturday, October 17, 2026, residents of the City may begin disposing of leaves at a designated area in the City’s Memorial Park. The City has issued the following guidelines pertaining to use of the area.
Signs will direct users to the designated area that will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. The area is scheduled to be open through Saturday, December 12, 2026. Only the designated area may be used for leaf disposal.
Leaves will be added to an existing compost area. They must be removed from plastic bags, and no materials used to carry the leaves are to be left at the leaf drop area. The area is to be used for disposal of leaves only. Dumping of brush, rubbish, and garbage is prohibited.
CURBSIDE LEAF COLLECTION SERVICE:
Is provided by the City’s Streets Department. Residents may call the department at (724) 285 – 8440 when all the leaves have fallen in their neighborhood or for more information.
Spotted Lanternfly Quarantine
PDA announced on Friday that Butler County had been added to the spotted lanternfly quarantine zone.

An SLF permit is required for all businesses, agencies and organizations, agricultural and non-agricultural, working within the quarantine, which move regulated articles, such as products, vehicles and other conveyances, within or from the quarantine. Ritts Park Notice
The Ritts Park Pickleball Courts 1 through 7 and the adjacent parking lots are RESERVED for Butler YMCA from May 4, 2026, to October 6, 2026, Mondays and Wednesdays 5:45 PM to 8:00 PM

Beginning Saturday November 2, 2024, Butler City residents can dispose of their fallen leaves at Memorial Park. A designated area will be open from 8am to 2pm weekdays and 9am to 5pm weekends and holidays.
