Level 1 Service

Residents will be billed every three months in advance of the service period.  This service provides once a week collection of solid waste (limited to seven 42-gallon containers and/or bags) and one bulk item per week for each residential unit.  This service level includes unlimited recyclables collection every other week.  Recycling is mandatory in the City of Butler.

  • Total Monthly costs: $19.50 in 2018, $20.09 in 2019, and $20.69 in 2020
    • includes recycling rate of $2.65 in 2018, $2.73 in 2019 and $2.81 in 2020

Level 2 Senior Program

Residents will be billed every three months in advance of the service period.  This service is exclusively offered to Senior Citizens and provides once a week collection of one 42-gallon plastic bag or one 42-gallone container.  This service level includes unlimited recyclables collection every other week.  Recycling is mandatory in the City of Butler.

  • Total Monthly costs: $17.56 in 2018, $18.09 in 2019, and $18.63 in 2020
    • includes recycling rate of $2.39 in 2018, $2.46 in 2019, and $2.53 in 2020

  • Residents can use any container or cart to collect recycle materials.  No plastic bags.  Please make sure bin is clearly marked as “RECYCLING” for pick-up
  • Recycling collection will occur every other week
  • It’s important that the right materials make it into your recycling container – and that you not bag your recyclables.  Empty all recyclables directly into your container – not in plastic bags

1/26/2017 Vogel Disposal Announcement:  “Mattress/box spring: for our worker’s protection, please wrap items in plastic and tape securely closed with duct or packing tape to prevent any possible exposure to infectious pests such as bedbugs, fleas, etc.”

Level 2 Sticker Program

Residents will be billed every 3 months in advance of the service period. Once a week collection of each 43 gallon container or each 42 gallon plastic bag affixed with a sticker purchased from Vogel Disposal Service. And mandatory unlimited recycling collection every other week.
