Butler Downtown is a grassroots revitalization initiative involving local citizens and people from business, education, government and community organizations throughout the region.

The organization is a group of interested individuals set up as a non-profit organization, with the mandate to bring new energy and vitality to our city’s central business district.

Butler Downtown is supported by a number of local businesses and organizations, including the Mayor and City Council and the Butler County Chamber of Commerce.

In this planning for our City’s future, this Main Street Program encourages respect for the rich historic heritage of Butler’s past, the political, cultural and industrial influences that shaped our downtown. It is necessary then, that we have a Comprehensive Plan that embodies this heritage, to create an even more attractive and welcoming city.

We have a significant task ahead, but with the cooperation and input of the community, along with others who believe in Butler, we can make our City a destination to experience, a great place to live, a City of which we can all be proud.
